BACKGROUND RESEARCH
Collecting information is the first step in writing content. This includes any number of techniques such as environmental scans, needs analyses, interviews with subject matter experts, surveys, academic searches, and other information-gathering techniques. See also Software Solutions.
FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Before a project begins, a feasibility study may be warranted to evaluate its potential benefits and determine its cost. The results of a feasibility study are typically delivered as a report. When we conduct needs analyses and feasibility studies, we prepare background reports to support our progress and our recommendation. In some cases, we add a presentation component to the report.
REPORTS & PROPOSALS
Using databases, spreadsheets, statistical software, etcetera, our team comprehensively analyzes the data, generating clear and accurate reports. We produce successful proposals and strong project reports for government and non-government clients.
BRIEFING NOTES & BACKGROUNDERS
Briefing notes and backgrounders are important communication tools for clients and stakeholders.
Problem-solving and decision-making requires clear communication about an issue or product, the benefits and constraints of a proposed course of action, and ultimately recommendations. We prepare government briefing notes, business-to-business briefs and White Papers produced on standard templates or custom-designed formats.
HOW TO GUIDES
The point of a How To Guide is to steer the reader through a complex series of steps. They are small to midsized documents of perhaps five to ten pages depending on the nature and scope of the task. How To Guides define the order of steps and pull together resources from various locations. In the end, the reader should be able to seamlessly navigate through the process.
