CUSTOM SOFTWARE & DATABASE MANAGEMENT
Through consultations with your team, we determine your software requirements and create a specification sheet. We then design the system and build a prototype. The prototype helps refine the design and ensures that the application is in fact what you need. We then build the full system and run it through a series of pilot tests, making further adjustments as required.
We build systems using C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Visual Basic, or other appropriate language or platform.
WEBSITES & SURVEYS
For public sector type projects, we often employ websites to publicly convey information regarding the ongoing work and to gather information through surveys and other online study tools. In many cases, database tables are used to store and manage collected information.
We create websites and surveys with WordPress, Kentico, SurveyMonkey, etc. If necessary, we will build them from scratch using a combination of HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
ONLINE TESTING
We computerize paper-based tests and assessments. These systems run either online or on a LAN. Depending on the application, we build tests and assessments from scratch or use tools such as TAO.
NOTE: computerized tests, particularly high-stakes tests, must be recalibrated since the change in media typically changes the scores.
